Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials through our authentication provider (Clerk). If you sign in via Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

Organization Profile Data

You may voluntarily provide organization information including: organization name, ALN numbers, eligible applicant types, services offered, core competencies, prior grant experience records, capacity statements, and annual budget. This data is used solely to match you with relevant federal grant opportunities and generate application materials.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the Service, including search queries, opportunities viewed, proposals generated, and feature usage. This data helps us improve the Service.

AI-Generated Content

When you use our AI features, we process your inputs (organization profile, opportunity details, instructions) through third-party AI providers (Anthropic) to generate application content. We cache AI-generated summaries to improve performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Service, including opportunity matching and application generation
• To calculate match scores between your organization profile and federal grant opportunities
• To generate AI-powered application materials, compliance matrices, and apply/skip analyses
• To send you saved search alerts and deadline notifications you have opted into
• To improve and optimize the Service
• To communicate with you about your account and the Service

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with:

• Anthropic — Your company profile and opportunity details are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate proposal content and match scores. Anthropic's data usage is governed by their privacy policy and our commercial API agreement.
• Clerk — Authentication and account management services.
• Supabase — Database hosting for your profile, proposals, and cached data.
• Vercel — Application hosting.
• Grants.gov — Your search queries (keywords, ALN numbers, filters) are sent to the Grants.gov public API to retrieve grant opportunity data.

5. AI Training

We do not use your data — including organization profiles, applications, or any content generated through the Service — to train, fine-tune, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Your data is processed through AI solely to provide you with the requested output.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication through Clerk, and access-controlled database storage through Supabase with row-level security. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data and company profile for as long as your account is active. Cached search results are retained for 4 hours. AI-generated opportunity summaries are retained to avoid redundant processing. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data

• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (managed by Clerk) and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
